How About a Law of Repulsion for My Clutter?

With all this talk about The Secret, I have to say: I really don't want to manifest more stuff right now. I have lots of clutter that I have been clearing out and organizing. Can there be some sort of Law of Repulsion where when I look at my clutter, it will magically fly out the window on its own accord?

How about a Law of Organization, where when I look at my unfiled papers, they magically re-arrange themselves into neatly organized files in my file drawer?

If I were Rhonda Byrne, author of The Secret, I would simply ignore my clutter and it would magically go away. After all, that's what she says you need to do to lose weight:

"If you see people who are overweight, do not observe them, but immediately switch your mind to the picture of you in your perfect body and feel it."

Ahh, that's right. When I see the pile of papers I need to file, I should simply not observe the pile and switch my mind to the picture of the pile not being there.

In fact, now that I look around my office, I see that there is absolutely nothing out of place or needing filing. The trash in my kitchen doesn't need to be taken down to the garbage outside, it simply does not exist!

And who needs to do laundry, when all you need to do is ignore the dirt? That's right - paying attention to dirt attracts the dirt. So stop focusing on dirt, folks, and you'll never have to do a load in the wash ever again.

I have now seen the light.
