Clean People are Less Judgmental - An Energetic Explanation

An interesting study was recently conducted showing that people who felt physically clean were more tolerant and less judgmental of others:

"When we exercise moral judgment, we believe we are making a conscious, rational decision, but this research shows that we are subconsciously influenced by how clean or 'pure' we feel," said lead researcher of the new study Simone Schnall, a psychologist at the University of Plymouth in England. "Take for example the situation of a jury member or voting in an election - if the jury member had washed their hands prior to delivering their verdict, they may judge the crime less harshly."

There's a possible energetic reason for this, actually. In pranic healing, clients are told not to wash themselves for 12-48 hours after receiving a healing. This is because water "washes away" the fresh chi that is given during a healing session. Conversely, if you want to clear away negative energy from yourself, you can take a salt bath to dissolve the energy. Even just taking a shower will also clear away some energetic "residue."

Why is it that you often want to change your clothes after a long day at work? Because the clothes hold the energetic residue from the day.

By clearing away negative energy, the individual is put into a higher state of tolerance and forgiveness.

Now, the study also showed that people who just read "clean" words, such as "pure," "washed," "immaculate" and "pristine," are also more likely to be forgiving and tolerant. Energy healers would once again suggest that this is because words themselves hold energetic vibrations. Think about the word "hate" for a little bit, and see how you feel. Then think about the word "love."
